A new player is a player that has not registered with an AWSL team in the past. Please follow these steps:
 
1. As a new player you must find a team to play on before registering. Do one of the following:

   Have a team captain contact you

   Contact the team captains directly
 
Once you have been approved to join a team, proceed with the rest of the steps.
 
2. Download and fill out:

   Player Registration Form

Make sure it is filled out completely and do not forget to include the team name and division.
 
3. Fill out a US Amateur SA Player Pass card. Leave the ID number blank. Do not forget to sign!
 
4. Attach a drivers license sized picture to the player card. Make sure you have written your name on the back of the picture.
 
5.Attach a check made payable to the AWSL. The amount for individual player registration varies, so please check with the AWSL Registrar about the current applicable fee.
 
6. Place all the registration forms in an envelope and deliver it to one of the Soccer USA stores in accordance with the timeframes identified. Place the envelope in the folder marked NEW REGISTRATION.
 
Properly filled out registration forms will be completed and returned in the following time periods:
 
• South Soccer USA store (Off William Cannon: Dropped off by Monday noon; card will be returned to box ready for pick up by Wednesday 1 pm.
 
• North Soccer USA store (13359 HW 183); Dropped off by Sunday close of business; card will be returned to box by Thursday at noon.
 
Note: Please check the box at the top of the player registration form to indicate where you would like the player card to be left (north or south store).
 
Registration forms that are incomplete or incorrect will be placed in the PROBLEMS folder and captains will be contacted. The forms will need to be corrected and placed in the NEW REGISTRATION folder again. Incorrect/incomplete registrations will not be completed until the following week. If you have any questions please contact the captain of the team you are registering with or contact the AWSL Registrar.
 
 
A returning player is a player that has previously registered for an AWSL team but does not have a current registration sticker on her player card. These players will have been issued a player ID number on their player card from a past season. ALL PLAYERS MUST RE-REGISTER AS A RETURNING PLAYER IN THE FALL (or whenever they return to play after the fall of each year). Please follow these steps:
 
1. Download and fill out:

   Player Registration Form

Make sure it is filled out completely and do not forget the team name. Do not fill out player ID number.
 
2. Attach your player card to the registration form. If you need a new card, fill out a US Amateur SA Player Pass card (leave the ID no blank). Don't forget to sign it and DO NOT FILL OUT PLAYER ID NUMBER! Attach a picture with your name to the player card. Make sure the picture is cut to driver license size.
 
3. Attach a check made payable to the AWSL. The amount for individual player registration varies, so please check with the AWSL Registrar about the current applicable fee.
 
4. Place all the registration forms in an envelope and deliver it to one of the Soccer USA stores below in accordance with the timeframes identified.Place the envelope in the folder marked NEW REGISTRATION.

A multiple player is a player that is CURRENTLY playing on another team (the "primary team") in this league, the co-ed league, or another TSSAS league (i.e. Round Rock Women's League), but wants to concurrently join another team in the AWSL. You MUST be playing with one of these other teams in order to register as a multiple player. A primary team is defined as the first team you register for if you are not currently registered on another team in any of the other leagues. Please follow these steps:
 
1. Download and fill out:

   Player Registration Form

Enter your primary team name and the multiple team name. To indicate a multiple team registration please place a star (*)next to the multiple team name. Make sure everything is filled out completely and do not fill out player ID number.
 
2. Attach your multiple team player card to the registration form.If you are registering for the multiple team for the first time, fill out a US Amateur SA Player Pass card and leave the ID # blank. Do not forget to sign! Attach a picture to the player card that is cut to driver's license size. Make sure you have written your name on the back of the picture. YOU WILL NEED A SEPARATE CARD FOR EACH TEAM!
 
3. Attach a check made payable to the AWSL. The amount for individual player registration varies, so please check with the AWSL Registrar about the current applicable fee.
